DJ Bio

Clem Off founded King DJ Company in 1999, and along with two additional djs’,entertains at functions ranging from wedding receptions and corporate events, all the way to teen birthdays’, school dances, and holiday parties.

Music has always been a central part of Clem’s life, having studied guitar and mandolin beginning in his teenage years’. He went on to record cds’ and perform at various venues including the Fillmore & Slim’s.

While still playing instruments, Clem drew on his vast knowledge of songs, artists, and musical styles from around the world, and began applying it to the fabulous world of dee-jaying!!! Valuable lessons were learned at Jillian’s Night Club in S.F., where under the tutelage of a turntablist who had worked with the artist Prince, he was taught the finer points of beat-matching and getting people of all ages out on to the dance-floor.

While working at GGG Entertainment in the 90’s, he acquired skills as a professional Emcee [or, Master of Ceremonies], as well as coordinating schedules and timelines to ensure that all events run smoothly under his direction.

Clem looks forward to many more years of dee-jaying, making clients happy [and playing his beloved Martin acoustic guitar], because in his words, “Music is the soundtrack to life”.
